FOUNDATION BY SUPPORTING A LONG-TERM SOLUTION FOR THE LIBRARY'S
DIMINISHING BUDGET.
The Denver Public Library (DPL) is a highly valued public
institution offering free and equal access to information. But repeated
cuts have led the Library's Friends Foundation to support a
voter-approved library district. Such a district will provide a
long-term solution to DPL’s inadequate funding within a stretched city
budget.
