What is going on with the district? We don't want new staff-- we want the staff that were selected years ago.

These two employees provide very valuable services to the enrichment of the students at Theodore Judah. They know the school and students well and take very special care of them. Please consider the need the school has to have them in their jobs.

Courtney Garis is absolutely an invaluable asset to our school and children. She is extremely observant and knows each child as if they were her own. We have known Miss Courtney since my now 8th grade oldest son started at Kindergarten at TJ. My youngest son is a 5th grade student and loves Miss Courtney. We stand by Miss Courtney 110%!

Ms. Courtney gives her heart and soul to our school. This is something that seniority can't replace. I urge the district to reverse its plans to remove Ms. Courtney.

We need Ms. Courtney! She is a perfect fit for the children. The kids love and trust her. I do not want a new person teaching my children. She has taken her free time to improve my first graders reading skills. COURTNEY MUST STAY!!

The district trying to find budget cuts and going after our selected and proven successful librarian and PE teacher is unacceptable. Maybe the district admins need to cut their salaries before going after our per diem teachers. In addition, seniority does not translate to a good fit.

Keep Courtney Garis. She elevates TJ and provides wisdom and comfort to the students because of her experience as a parent and volunteer at TJ. This type of experience and dedication cannot and should not be replaced by a generic selection off a seniority list. Do better SCUSD.

While I'm not sure what all the standing rules and regulars are that have pushed the school board to take this action, I wanted to put in my opinion that Courtney has been one of the most supportive staff with my niece, who I am guardian of. In addition she has done a wonderful job encouraging my niece to read, she now loves reading. I hope with all my heart that Courtney has the opportunity to stay at Theodore Judah.

My grandchildren attend T Judah. I volunteer weekly at the school. I’ve known Courtney since she work under Ms Wendy. I have nothing but good things to say about her. She is professional, puts the students needs first and easy to work with. She is a huge asset to T. Judah.

We need to grant our proud principal the authority to make the staffing choices that he deems best, and resist the entitlement that comes with seniority. Ultimately Mr Holding is responsible for the school, and I support his wishes on this matter.
