I agree I have lived in this area since a boy now 66. The place does not have any real places for kids of all ages. The area at craigour is run down now with betting shop pub and chip shop. Very untidy with rubbish. And at night there has been a lot more Trouble around there.

The centres should not be forgotten about. This is a place that’s used and benefits the kids and community !

Unbelievable. Goodtrees neighbourhood centre has done more than every single other community centre. The impact goodtrees had on this division between Moredun/Gilmerton has been massive. It is becoming less and less and with that extra money I’m sure that goodtrees can minimise this gang culture.

It is madness that our area is currently in crisis point with no funding allocated. The disparity in the different localities is sad and a failure for the young people of liberton and Gilmerton area.

It’s height time our cllrs stood up for this area and made sure we get the funding our community need. Have you contacted cllr Dickie & Cllr Perriw they are the convenor and vice convenor of this committee and should be standing up for their wards.

When is money going to be spent in the Moredunvale/Inch/Gilmerton area feels a very unfair distribution of funds.

I think this area is entitled to funding like any other area, kids roaming the streets because there isn't much for them to do or places to go. This has a knock on effect to older residents in this area as anti social behaviour begins

Our schools and community centres have no funding for anything. No parks for kids to play in!
