Liam Dealtry is currently acting as the Mayor for Bridlington after the shocking and sudden death of the previous Mayor. As such Liam Dealtry has not been granted a full term in the position, but in the short time that he has taken up the roll as Bridlington Mayor he has done more for Bridlington than possibly the past 5 Mayors did in their full terms put together. He has raised money for many charitys, everything from Boxing Events where he got in the ring to swimming in the Freezing North sea! Most recently he attended the Bridlington Shotokan Karate & MMA Club's demonstration in the Promenade Shopping Center, dressed in a full karate suit and allowed the young students to 'demonstrate' some moves on him. Liam Dealtry goes out of his way to help the people of Bridlington, of all ages! This is the kind of person we need looking after our interested and representing Bridlington full time! Not some retired fuddy duddy who just creeps out of the woodwork for the occasional Christmas lights switch on.... Speaking of which, the town would not have had this year if it wasnt for, you guessed it... Liam Dealtry! Every week I see him in the papers, on the news.... most weeks there are letters written to the Free Press in the 'Letters To The Editor' section from Bridlington people commenting on whatan amazing job Liam Dealtry is doing for the town. So I thought that there must be a group or petition active that I could sign to keep him as our Mayor... I was shocked to find there was none! So here it is! If you feel that Liam Dealtry deserves to be given a full term as Bridlington Mayor then PLEASE sign this petition. Then invite EVERYONE you know that cares about Bridlington to do the same. With your help we can insure that our town gets the best mayor it deserves, someone who really wants to make things better for all the people of Bridlington!
