I went through so much violence and bullying for being queer and transgender at LHS and Lowndes County Schools more broadly. I'm happy to support the students there now!

PLEASE make this happen. I went to Lowndes and currently go to Kennesaw State University where they have tremendous support because of the space and acknowledgment given to them. Stop the hate and spread the love!

As someone who used to attend this school, I think this would be a beautiful gesture - especially with any changes in social climate we will see in the future. It'a time for solidarity, stability, and an equalization of different walks of life, and the first step starts with us

All Students at LHS need to have support and a safe place to talk about their problems. I believe this club will serve to be a positive vehicle for our LGBTQ community.

Very touched to see people sticking together and pushing forward, especially now when all the progress we've made is at risk of falling to pieces. Proud to be an alumni of this amazing school.

I'm bisexual. It'd be cool to have a place to be open about it and meet other LGBT+ peers.
