In view of high implication of Covid-19, I strongly support school fees' reduction, as requested by students' parents.

We should support each other in these difficult times and are expecting to have at least 20% like other schools did

Since few weeks my days are very dificult both my kids need 100 % of assistance . Zooms are not helping to finish all the work requested, I have to work nights to finish my own work. I support this reduction of fees request . Scholl is closed no maintenance is needed .

It’s absurd to ask the parents to pay the full fees in those conditions! Especially for PS when we are the ones teaching them. Not to mention the ridiculous zoom sessions for a 3 year old who cannot sit still. We wont pay the transportation for the 3rd trimester!!

The school should consider the economic situation a s the fact that the students are not using the facilities

Because of hard circumstances school have to make compromise with parents. Its okay to take 50 percent fee. Online study only the parents will struggle with the children.

A lot of items have been already cut from the school cost for this term, accordingly it’s unfair for everyone to pay for services that they are not receiving. We definitely appreciate you are keeping teachers on full salary, yet you have to take into consideration the other costs that will disappear.

I agree that LFI should take its part considering though that some fixed costs cannot be reduced i.e teachers salaries, building rental fees, maintenance expenses... But for the transportation, the fees should be entirely refunded to the parents from day 1 of school closure.

I have lost my job. I am the only bread earner. We have 3 children at school, 2 in the collège and 1 in primaire. My kids are at aflec since 2008

Keeping the fees as it is it does not make sense by any means: - Less working hours for teachers - paying 8,500 AED for transportation which is not happening !!! - teachers work from home and their cost of living is way less than being full time in the school.

Its not right for my 3 year old to get 1 hr of zoom per week and call it learning. It’s absurd

Our family understands the situation if pandemic and we all have to deal witb it, however the school fees should be reduced, specifically for PS class, where kids the school can not fully perfom the edicarion due to kids ages. Although trachers are doing their best, it does not feel reasonable to pay full amount for smthing that is not possible to to.in practice (3 y o kids who just started school and whos parenta work can not be expected to study online effectively)

The school fees, given the current situation, should be reduced by 50% and not only 30%. I remind everybody that the two previous terms have been paid in full, and that AFLEC school, in such situation should show genuine interest in the future of their students and their loyal parents. We have, for the majority of us, suffered a big loss and big cuts in our revenues, why should it be different for the school. I would like to reassure the school management, that we are not taking advantage of the situation, and that we appreciate the efforts made to keep the school running, but these are times where solidarity and altruism should be the key words.
