The public no longer want to tolerate the deliberate flouting of the law by this hunt. Apparently we are in the 21st century, the days of chasing and harassing an animal to rip it apart in the name of "sport" should be long gone and despite the law, these hunters believe themselves above it . Stop glorifying what is crass cruel and unacceptable to the majority.

By allowing them to parade on Boxing Day, Lewes would be condoning their violence and intimidation. Why not do something decent and stop legitimising them.

Fox hunting is illegal in England and Wales. Leave the foxes alone !!!

this is an archaic practice that I am sure that Lewes Town would rather not support as it would seriously deter visitors from nearby Brighton and Hove where the majority of peoples living there, who I am sure, contribute towards Lewes economy, would if they knew the truth of the barbarism that is carried out in the name of "sport" and also the illegal activities that this "sport" supports, i.e. hunting with packs of hounds after the fox has been flushed out of his sett by Terrier men who are employed by the Hunt, and when the fox has either been ripped apart OR died from exhaustion it is then shot to make it appear that it was never hunted in the first place, i.e. a loophole in the hunting act is utilized by these evil people? Does Lewes Town Council know these facts?? If not, you now know, please do the right thing and stop your support for this barbarism, it belongs in the past along with bear baiting!! Thank you for reading, if you actually ever do!!
