Would you allow a dog fighting club to set up in the High Street? There is no difference in criminality and cruelty. Lewis DC should not condone these violent hunters.

Fox hunting is now no longer legal and the Southdown & Eridge Hunt blatantly flaunt this Law; we will not accept any bleets about it being a "Tradition". Lewes District Council should not be encouraging, enabling or allowing The Hunt to cause road closures in our County Town in order for them to pursue an illegal activity. If they do so, they should be considered complicit to a crime

The council should not be supporting- 1. an illegal activity, and 2. an activity that the majority of the population are against. This is deeply undemocratic and raises questions of bias and corruption.

I live locally in West Sussex and am shocked and disappointed that Lewes council supports fox hunting.
Please show compassion and revise your policy, so it can be a Merry and not a bloody Christmas.

The council should not be encouraging activities that encourage the act of illegal fox hunting. It is an organised extermination of everyones wildlife for the purpose of the hunters pleasure, this is totally unacceptable.

Fox Hunting with packs of dogs is illegal. Why are a local authority condoning activities, that are disguised as trail hunting when in reality, they know it isnt?

This is a notoriously violent hunt who openly flout the 2004 Hunting Act and resent their activities being peacefully monitored. Please don't facilitate their meeting.

Hunting with dogs is illegal in the UK ... As public servants I expect you to uphold the law. There are many reports of police supporting hunts by harassing sabs and protesters I hope they are not correct.
