It would reflect very badly on Lewes District Council to enable this hunt. Given not only the widespread public opposition to hunting but definite evidence of malpractice in this case, it should not be allowed to continue. Th responsible action from the Council would be to put a halt to this practice.

80% of the populace is opposed to fox hunting and to allow this practice goes in opposition to the will of the majority of your constituents.
Do not approve the road closure of Lewes High Street on boxing day
2015 and beyond.

I have witnessed the kind of violence shown in the picture attached to this petition. The S&E Hunt need to be prosecuted not paraded down the streets of Lewes

Please don't facilitate this parade of anti-social and anachronistic cruelty. 80% of the public are happy there is a ban on fox hunting, this hunt has made it clear they are against it. They are an extremist minority who do not represent the vast majority of people in this country.

Please do not allow the closure of the High Street. The hunt cannot guarantee beyond all reasonable doubt that they will not resort to illegal hunting and by allowing the closure you are giving them tacit approval for an illegal act, and by doing so you are by association, I would have thought, also committing an illegal act.
