Their acts of violence have gone from innocent animal to mankind. Please do not condone violence by closing Lewes High Street so these hunters can continue their despicable acts on man and beast. 80% of the population are against hunting that means your parishioners too. Failure to close the High Street means you don't support your parishioners.

Illegal hunting takes place all the time. Hunt regularly attack monitors and have disdain for the law of the land, killing our wildlife with impunity.

Respect the wishes of the 80% of people who support the ban on hunting and don't encourage it by showcasing the Boxing Day meet.

Hunting is a cruel, barbaric activity. Around 80% of the public do not support anything to do with its reintroduction. For years hunting has carried on despite being against the law. The hunts appear to believe that with your support they can continue to bypass the law and the council is not showing support of the overwhelming people. To say it is tradition is an insult. Slavery, wife beating were also popular but we need to move on as a society and show more compassion for our environment. PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THE HUNT ON BOXING. I ASSUME THIS CLOSURE COSTS HARD WORKING FAMILIES MONEY.

Why do these wildlife criminals get such preferential treatment when they should be shunned by all reasonable and decent people everywhere.
