Stop harassing law abiding firearms owners. This constant harassment against firearms is a waste of govt money and my time that could be spent shooting. We haven't had a mass shooting since you know when (and the questions that remain unanswered about that incident that led to the wholesale removal of firearms and restrictions. We are being treated as though we are mindless idiots - we aren't. The one's that constantly harass law abiding citizen's.

the gun laws in Australia in 96were fine As they were, why fix something that's not broken and then, sporting shooters are The back bone of a lot of small community's , they flock to small towns in the game season and provide money to the town, if you limit the guns that they can use according to their license then they will stop going hunting etc

Increase safe storage checks and storage requirments. I would be happy to install a security camera if needed which would likely stop more than one crime if someone stole my firearms and was caught.

Lever action arms are an important and legitimate part of the firearm ownership/usage landscape and have been for well over 100 years.

Mmm, here we go again. How about the population of our cities travel over the hill from Penrith and check out what regional Australia is like. I tell you what, lever action rifles play a huge roll in disposing of feral animals that eat/destroy our food crops....yes us country dwellers eat the same food as the city dwellers.....we grow it sell it for bugger all as the city dweller screw the prices down and the larger population centres consume the products grown and just think it comes from the supermarket . Give us a break!
Have you ever seen the damage 20 feral pigs can do to a crop of wheat or barley...these lever guns can be used to quickly dispatch of feral animals when farmers run into them. If we get rid of them , expect to pay more for your cornflakes.
