Not happy by being restricted because of the actions of criminals. We are licenced and legal and should not suffer due to criminals that have no respect for the law. Lever actions are legal and we should not be restricted any further.

It's disappointing to see how our government who is meant to be the ones we are supposed to trust are actually the ones who are loosing our trust and trying to take away our rights as a legal law abiding citizen exercising our rights to own perfectly legal firearms for the use of target competition shooting and the ethical removal of foreign introduced pests that will continue to destroy our beautiful flora and fauna.. Australia heavily relies on us hunters who utilise lever action rifles regardless of the calibre to do the work that we do might I add we do it for free at no cost imagine having to pay professional shooters to have to do the job we have to do because you have taken away a style of rifle that is safe cost effective and extremely practical whilst still wishing the laws and guide lines your government introduced? It's style of rifle and action that's been around for over a hundred years nothing on them have changed except for making them more practical and safer to use..... Don't do this its our right to own them yet you punish the innocent while the crooks will keep doing what they are doing.
We stuck to the rules don't punish us for that.
