I consider myself a safe and responsible owner of a lever action rifle and find it very insulting to be treated as a criminal under a government that is failing to resolve the true problem of gun crime.

Another populist attempt at headlines at the pointless expense of licenced firearms owners. monis was a criminal, not licenced with an illegal gun. I am sick to death of GC Aus, ssmmy lee, roland (what's it's fkn name) and journos canning licenced shooters. Howards safrr Australia, eell where the fk is it johnny !! Absolutely unjustified to ban a firearm that has no statistics at all linking it to crime and mass shootings. Criminals will always get their hands on firearms no matter what laws are in place.licenced firearm owners who own registered guns have suffered enough.

i own a lever action firearm, and I am a registered owner, mine currently is classed as a cat A weapon as it is a rim fire firearm. How the hell can it be classed as a cat C or D if it is not a semi-auto??
