Really don't see a problem with lever actions only problem is not big enough penalties for unlicensed gun owners , why should us licensed gun owners suffer for what the criminals are doing wrong

Criminals DO NOT obey laws.....guns laws, drug laws, assault laws, traffic laws.....pick one! Why are law abiding, registered gun owners and responsible people always used as the scape goat whenever the issue of 'illegal firearms' comes up? No logic at all....the Government continues to penalise the wrong people!! Wake up Australian Government!

I own and use 2 lever action rifles for feral animal removal and recreational hunting i deplore the possible change that will place them in category c or d there's no need for such a move except to punish the law abiding for the acts of criminals and terrorists
