Taking lever action rifles/shotguns off licence holder WILL NOT make the police or the public any safer, as criminals dont have licences

Don't penalize the legal shooters. It's not rocket science to know that the people who these laws are aimed at are the ones who'll get their hands on guns anyway regardless of laws. They aren't criminals for no reason!!!!!

I'm of the opinion that throughout the Anglo sphere, the Inalienable Rights of law abiding people are being ignored and or treated with contempt by those who seek control others. Time to remind these career politicians who is working for whom.

Gun 'bans' don't work. Only donkey-level stubborn gun-grabbers try to pretend this isn't the case. But targeting an easily identifiable minority community is the easy 'sound bite' option. In the meantime more people will continue to die until the socio-economic root causes of this sort of violence are addressed.

Ban cars, motorbikes, boats, kitchen knives, blunt instuments and matches as well while you are at.
These also have caused harm to innocent people.
