I’ve played soccer all my life as a girl and have not ever heard of a goal being worth more than one point. This is ridiculous. This needs to be changed.

This de-values a woman's role in any team, in that it assumes a woman's contribution to that team has to be augmented in order for it to be equal to a man's contribution. It accomplishes exactly the opposite goal.
