How can anyone whI chose to eliminate 4 rising seniors from the cheer team sleep @ night. Put yourselves in their shoes. These girls have cheered for Brookwood athletics for @ least 6 years. How unfair!

Like some people mentioned, this is a problem throughout the extracurricular of all sports. The coaches only favorite on the old players, and they don't look at potential over experience. Ya feel? This needs to stop!

This is what I'm talking about brookwood is ridiculous like just cause a girl speaks her mind in a respectful way to a coach doesn't mean they shouldn't make it. It should be based on skill not favoritism. I am now ashamed to call myself a bronco. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS !!!!! I hope you see this Coaches because these girls are like family to me, and it hurts me to see this. #LetThemCheer

Brookwood I'm very ashamed of you at the moment. You all preach that kids should be apart of their community, if they wanna go to college, and be involved in extracurriculars, if they wanna go to college. How do you expect students to do that when they go into every year iintimidated to even try out because of the favoritisim within each of your sports. You teach about all these historians and how they fought for what they believe in, yet parents are afraid to even come forward and speak their peace in fear of their child being penalized in the process. These girls have invested so much in this cluster and played a major role in the community since they were in elementary school. It'd be different if the other girls had the same skill level but most of those cheerleaders can't even touch our vets talent! For this reason I will continue to live by "it's not what you know but who you know". Let these girls cheer!!!

Never thought that a day would come where one of my closest friends didn't make the team . She's grown up cheering in the brookwood community and has supported every brookwood event , as have her parents . Senior year is suppose to be a year to remember ..... Brookwood is known for giving not taking . Everyone is suppose to have a voice at brookwood . We're suppose to come together as a family and not bash down on one another . Let them remember their senior year as a good year
