My daughter wanted to attend this camp but her age group was restricted (3). Please do not take away the opportunity for her to attend when she is older. The outdoor play and social skills offered at this camp are excellent for child development. There are so few places in our area offering this type of experience to our children, who are more socially isolated than they have ever been. Allow CKC to continue to serve their community!

We have been a neighbor to the Shelnutt’s for over 5 years. Their property backs up to ours and I can tell you that they have always been their when we needed them. The kids camp is a great resource for kids to explore outdoor activities and learn about God and nature. I am the president of our neighborhood HOA and have never received a negative complaint on the summer camp. Shelley and Kevin are a foundation in our community and need to continue to offer the camp to kids in our area.

We’ve attended for the past 5 years. I drive over an hour twice a day to take my kids here, because of this exact platform: they simply want kids to play together, get dirty, splash around, sing, and leave with full hearts. Why have we allowed government to determine whether this is safe or not? Please- don’t take away the highlight of a kid’s summer.

As an Educator, a parent, and grandmother , I know children need more time connecting with good old play time outside ! They need to connect with each other and play . So often we forget the importance of how play leads to imagination, social skills, problem-solving , and trusting. Country kids camp has allowed many children the opportunity to slow down ,stay off technology ,get some fresh air and learn to play again they are children they need this
