Why would anyone not want this camp for the youth growing up today? I see this camp being a very good experience and a memorable experience that some children will never forget! Please don’t close it down!

I live less than a mile from this camp. It is a God send. My child has grown up in this camp and is his favorite part of summer. This camp needs to stay and continue to entertain and enrich our children.

My Granddaughter has gone to this camp for the last few yrs and absolutely loves it. They are kept busy doing outdoor activities with no electronics in their faces!

The kids of today’s generation NEED people like the Shellnuts and their camp. I am a parent who has watched the love and magic provided by Mrs. Shelnutt to her son. If you shut this camp down, you are stealing joy from hundreds of children who NEED joy in this dark and evil world.

There’s literally no logical reason that this place should be shut down. This camp is beloved by MANY in the community. In a society where a lack of community is a major issue, a place where - children especially - can get out, get active, and be involved is especially important.

My children participated and were camp counselors at one time or another for years. This is a amazing opportunity for children. Shame on anyone who has problem with this camp.
