WE SUPPORT THE PEOPLE OF TEXAS IN THEIR GOAL OF SECESSION.

Last weekend, people gathered in Austin for (yet) another rally in support of secession.  We, the people of the other 49 states, understand that it will be difficult for these fine Texas patriots to accomplish their goal without our support.  After all, we had a civil war the last time states wanted to secede and we don't really want to fight on a third front right now, do we?

We understand completely why the good citizens of Texas want to protect what they have, which is:

* The highest percentage of people without health insurance in the nation

* The lowest percentage of high school graduates in the state population

* The second lowest verbal SAT scores in the nation, and the fifth lowest math SAT scores

* The third highest teen birth rate

* The sixth highest poverty rate

* The sixth highest rate of infectious disease

* The eighth highest rate of child poverty

* The fifteenth lowest rate of current high school graduation

Therefore we, the undersigned, want to send the people of Texas our message of support (sorry, Austin!) for their effort to leave the other 49 states of the union and take their misery with them. 

We also urge the US Congress NOT to fight their petition for succession.
