Ask President Stanley to Condemn Trump's Immigration Ban

Integrity matters

Align yourself with the other great institutions, standing in the light of the constitution! I promise it won't hurt.

The leadership of Stony Brook University need to act immediately in defiance of Trump. The stakes are too high to simply stand idly.

This ban is in every way opposite to the values and beliefs higher education represents. To fail to act on one's one values is the definition of cowardice.

This ban has hurt the heart of students and friends at SBU. It is also strangely not against the countries where trump does business, therefore the ban is not created as a safety measure, but to target innocent people and therefore rally around hate. Being silent is being part of the problem. If some hurt, we all hurt.
