Committed life as a Sikh seems like minimum standard. If there is some non-Sikh internationally recognized as an exemplar in religious governance, pay them as a consultant.

Thank you for this petition. I feel that it is important to be inclusive. We need to have a balance of perspectives from multi generations, cultures, and backgrounds. Above all is the importance of keeping and maintaining the integrity of our Dharma. We need to hold onto to our Sikh and yogic values and teachings. Let us learn from our mistakes and move forward. God and Guru will guide us and this process.

This is valuable information based on history, trial and error. Though I am always open to hear all or new information and opinions, I value the hindsight and importance of holding and maintaining the teachings as given to us by the Siri Singh Sahib. Maintaining the integrity of how we live our lives but with an inclusion and an understanding of how we got here and recognizing the need and compassion of allowing people the space to grow. "You can't be a Sikh in a week" and we can't completely close off new ideas and new people. However, keeping our leadership balanced and steady in maintaining our principles and way of life is essential.

Thanks for the opportunity to be apart of something So dear to me.

I have been in these teachings since 1979. I was very actively involved in the Pro-Yogi Bhajan team for the 2023 election. I am a devoted student of Yogi Bhajan, but not a Sikh. I agree that the SSSC must move forward to the next election very cautiously, keeping everything we worked so hard to preserve intact. Stand tall and strong for our values and do not allow negative voices to deter you from protecting our teachings and honoring our teacher.
