As Filipino online English teachers, we are grateful to the Chinese government and Chinese families for providing us jobs for the last 10 years, especially during this pandemic.

We humbly asked for your kind consideration for us to continue the bond we already have withbour Chinese students and parents. They are already part of our lives. In fact, they are one of the reasons why we wake up everyday.

Because of the pandemic, I had to leave my previous job. Being an online ESL teacher was my savior. It became my bread and butter and helps me put food on our table. I hope this could be reconsidered as a lot of teachers depends on this kind or work because they fear that going back to office will bring harm not just to themselves but to their families.
