Sad to hear how the decision was made and the only reason for slashing football was CTE, what type of education has been given to any football player in the last 5-20 years about CTE? So they have a choice in it as well, how did golf and lacrosse end up on the cancellation ballot while we had monster results and rankings from both those products. And then reallocate the money to dance and yoga? Seriously? The reasoning here Sounds suspicious and untruthful.

I personally believe this is unbelievable because the fact that the college is taking the land away just because they want the funds is crazy.

As an alumn who donated on countless occasions and enough to have the honor of naming the field after him I was disappointed that no one solicited my input. There is certainly no shortage of outreach by the general student body for further donations to causes that did not enrich my years at Whittier college

I say that that we should keep the sports because people need to be and stay active and show what skills they have and show their skills in sports. There are many kids that are very skilled.
