Petition To the Bridgeport Planning and Zoning Commission

This should be considered under the new zoning regulations, not the old ones. This building is way too big for the location.

No too much traffic

Ditto to too tall, too many units and definitely not enough parking. Getting in and out will be a nightmare.

5 stories is totally out of character with Black Rock’s quaint villiage proportions. Nice building, not here. Better suited for downtown bridgeport in the company of other five-story apt buildings.

Definitely too large and also poorly conceived. This will be an eyesore., and result in traffic congestion. A one-to-one parking ratio is insufficient. Overflow parking will park on the street and impact local businesses negatively.

I oppose this development. It is too dense and should be considered under the new zoning regs.

Too large, not fitting for the neighborhood and with 52 units and retail, too much traffic!

Too high and parking will be a nightmare for everyone in that part of Black Rock.

As a resident of Black Rock, having this in the neighborhood is not ideal for It will create heavier traffic conditions onto Fairfield Avenue, especially along the two side roads bordering the property. Courtland already is a heavily trafficked street used by many to enter and exit Black Rock. A complex of more than 50 unit at this intersection will wreak havoc.

Keep structure in keeping w neighborhood architecture. As drawn, it just doesn’t fit.

I object to the building of this project due to the fact that this building is much too large for the proposed area. We do not need yet another huge development not far from the already existing development of Brewster. The parking and traffic problems in Black Rock are out of control as it is. We need more space for public parking to support the businesses along Fairfield Avenue.

I live on Seaside Ave and a structure of this size would not only be a complete eye sore but the traffic congestion would be horrific. I would seriously consider leaving this beautiful area I love and have owned a home in for 10 years and have lived in for almost 20.

Too large! Obviously 49 parking spaces and not sufficient for 52 units! Households average more than 1 car per unit.

This needs to be a 3 story building with less units and more parking. I don’t want to have to fistfight people for parking in black rock

Does not fit in with the size of existing neighboring buildings. This proposed building is too tall.

Three stories max and more interesting architecture please!
