It is important for him to be able to speak the truth without being threatened.

This is a shame to Denmark and an historical error. It tells the world that all that matters in Denmark now are corporate interests, and not its young people. The Danish state has sided with bullies.

Truth is not always comfortable, but we must value and admire the courage of those like Dr Peter Gottzsche who says the most obvious truth. Let's not forget that even your enemy admires your courage. It is the beaurocrats and the establishment who do not.

Peter Gotzsche is one of the icons of contemporary science, his work is of the greatest relevance to all around the world, in particular for us Brazilians who fight for a true science, free from interests unrelated to the search for reliable scientific evidence.

Dr. Peter Gøtzsche is a scientist of the utmost caliber. His removal from the board of the Cochrane Collaboration was a travesty. You may disagree with his scientific opinion, but do not allow that to lead you to rash actions you will surely later regret because you don't understand his position today. If you would read his two most recent books, which I have, you would realize that he does painstaking research before he states a public opinion on any controversial scientific subject. You may rest assured that terminating Dr. Gøtzsche will certainly end up leaving you as embarrassed as the people who wrongfully persecuted Marshall and Warren for their discovery that was not only proven correct but earned them the Nobel prize.
