Letter to Danish Minister of Health against dismissal of Peter Gotzsche

Peter Gotzsche is an honest person and a hard worker. His work spared lives and suffering. We need him to continue to bring the scientific debate to life.

Shameful conflict of interest with Big Pharma

He is a heroic sceptic. We need his voice.

Peter's dedication to his work, his profession and ethical medicine is unquestionable. His situation is untenable. He should be reinstated immediately if justice has any value.

This is a scandal

I would have thought that the Danish of all nationalities would have respected and protected diverse and free speech. Please rethink your decision, it has very far reaching negative consequences for Denmark, your institution and your patients.

I totally support this letter. The world needs more people like Peter Gotzche. He has been made a scapegoat.

Peter is crucial to a truly independent take at medical review.

Peter Gøtzsche is a truth seeker who has fearlessly exposed the false narratives of the pharmaceutical industry. Dismisssing him would be a travesty for independent scientific knowledge that he has promoted through the Cochrane Centre and in his publications.

As a practising psychiatrist I rely on the quality of Cochrane reviews. Any move to reduce non-scientific influence on this process is integral. I believe Peter Gotzsche's involvement in Cochrane enhances its ability to continue to produce high quality research that maintains its reputation as capturing the best evidence.

The only thing he's guilty of is to point out corruption in the pharmaceutical industry. He's a hero.

He is a genius who speaks the truth and his firing is evidence of the corruption in science by pharmaceutical company pressure.

I fully support independent research. This is much needed today where fact based discussion and decision is threaten. Peter G. has always been a role model when it comes to unbiased research dissemination.
