As a member of the group Cancer Rose, for an objective information of women about breast cancer screening, I testify that Peter Gotzsche's research and action have been very important in my country (France). He was awarded Prescrire's Price and he was invited to talk in Paris. I cannot understand how it can be possible even to think of dismissing him.

Peter Gotzsche has been and still is a light in this difficult world wherein our profession is under the continuous spoiling influences of commercial interests. His rebuke is a dishonour for the Cochrane organization, for his hospital and for his country.

I have long considered the Cochrane Collaboration to be the gold standard in meta-analyses. Gotszche was a key figure in achieving this status.
