Dissent in science is essential to its process, and to knowledge progressing. Consider all the wonderful scientists who were initially scorned for their work - Edward Jenner (who discovered the power of vaccination), Robin Warren and Barry Marshall (who discovered helicobacter pylori causes ulcers not stress) and Ignaz Semmelweiss (who discovered handwashing prevented women dying of infections after childbirth). We would all be worse off without their efforts, something that is only clear in hindsight. Scientists who challenge contemporary beliefs on the basis of (inconvenient) data must be protected.

May Openness and truth be the most important for human beings

Peter Gøtzsche is providing valuable honest research to us all. We value his work and want the truth. He makes your hospital stand out as honest and high quality. If you dismiss him, your hospital will appear political and your research ethic questionable.

It's time to include and honour this precious knowledge to the benefit for so many people, their families as for the society in general .
