Please do not fire Peter. He speaks selflessly. He speaks the truth. One day you may wish you had someone like him. Mental health can strike anyone at amyone time

I wonder if this has anything to do with the grant of USD $1.15 million from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, which has a questionable reputation. Our world need brave people like Dr. Gøtzsche!

Dismissing Gøtzsche would harm the solid Danish reputation of independent and democratic science

Peter Goetzsche has provided important additions to the scientific discourse. He embodies everything Cochrane should stand for. His dismissal is suspicious to say the least and it is a blow to the collaboration, as reflected by the corresponding resignations

Peter is a model of scientific integrity, his dismissal would be a huge step backwards for evidence based and unbiased research.

We need more doctors like this. Doctors who really do care for patients.

Undermining of public-interest scrutiny of corporate medicine applied by spineless, clueless sycophants. Money and greed over sustainable good health.

I dont necessarily agree with Peter Gøtzsche about everything especially when it comes to the debate about psychiatry. However I find it absolutely disturbing if PGs fight for transparency and a real scientific debate should be lost. That would be a real danger to medical science. That is truly scary for both doctors and patients.
