AACE state, regional and international chapters provide AACE members with professional networking opportunities, CME programming, and a vehicle for launching advocacy activities related to local, state and federal governmental policy and third party payor issues. Why are going to eliminate this?

As a charter member & immediate past president of a chapter, I want AACE to continue to be an association of Clinical Endocrinologists. The Chapters have groomed some of the leaders of AACE, as well as, provided local education and networking opportunities.

As an AACE founder, our focus was laser sharp on the clinical endocrinologist and his or hers patient. That focus remains just as vital today. The dilution of the clinical endocrinologist and the dissociation with all state chapters by the "AACE rebranding" is very disconcerting and reflects a very different mission. I agree that this fundamental change should be voted on by every AACE member.

AACE was created to support CLINICAL ENDOCRINOLOGISTS.
As a founding board member and Past President, I am disturbed to see the destruction of our organization and the method by which this is being done.

As an AACE founder, our focus was laser focused on the clinical endocrinologist and his or her patient. That focus is as vital now as ever. The dilution of the clinical endocrinologist within AACE along with the dissociation from all the state chapters as part of the "AACE rebranding" is very disconcerting and speaks to a very different mission. I agree this should be voted on by the entire membership.

Our organization represents the individual practicing endocrinologist and has done that since 1991. If we are going to change that, every endocrinologist should have a voice in that decision, COVID or no.
