We don't have enough programs like RAIN to encourage economic growth in the rapidly growing cities in Oregon. Maintaining funding for this program will surely pay dividends, please try and look toward the future.

The RAIN program as a whole has redefined the start up ecosystem not only in Eugene, but throughout Oregon. It is empowering people to take the biggest risk of their lives-- to put everything they have into a company. As of my writing of this comment, I have only attended one ID8 session at RAIN. It has been the ultimate wake-up call to push myself in the right direction for my startup. I believe RAIN is absolutely crucial to supporting Oregon's economy and its location near the UO makes it the prime networking hub of the state of Oregon.

As the founder of three successful start ups I can say that, in over 30 years of doing business in Eugene, nothing like RAIN has ever existed to help start ups or to connect the business community to make things happen. It would be a huge mistake not to fund this vital and vibrant program.

Without the education and support of RAIN my business would not be where it is today.
My business has grown almost three fold since leaving the RAIN accelerator. I have received over $120k in combined equity and debt funding and will be looking to add employees as we continue to grow.
