Letter of Support for CAMPA Charter School Expansion

Our community need this school to expand to the 12th grade. Currently there are no charter high school in our community, by expanding CAMPA to 12 grade it will truly make a big difference in our community.

If this school, with these wonderful educators, do not deserve to continue serving children in the high school grades, then no school deserves to expand.

I do not want my child to attend any other school for high school. CAMPA has done changed my child for the better. He is a much better student and actually enjoys school. Please give CAMPA the expansion and into high school.

We do not have any Charter High Schools in this community, if we are going to allow the larger charter schools to expand, let us also support smaller charter schools such as CAMPA in their mission to expand. This school caters to ALL students regardless of their previous academic profile. I have 2 children at this school, and they were able to motivate and encourage both my children, they were able to bridge the academic gap. They do not deny children access to their rigorous curriculum, they expose them to it, support them through it and give them the opportunity to believe in themselves when others deny them because of their previous academic performance. Any school that believes all children have the ability to succeed have my vote. The leaders of this school are true educators and real supporters of the underserved. My children know what it's like to be denied access, but this school showed them they can and made them believe in themselves. I need this kind of support for my children as they continue into High school, I need a school that will continue the great work that CAMPA started. We need CAMPA High School.

We need more schools like CAMPA in this community. Let's promote growth, vote yes to expanding to high school. We are in a continuous fight for equity and access to opportunities, so let us not deny this school and the students of this community this great opportunity. The time is now.

I support and respect the positive impact this school has on our children. An expansion to high school will allow the school to continue to promote the development of the students they serve and enable more students to be exposed and benefit from not only the academic program and social/emotional support but it will afford young people in this community the opportunity to be influenced by people who truly care about their wellbeing.

Our children need this rigorous education in our own neighborhoods.

I strongly support the expansion of CAMPA Charter School into the 9th grade and beyond. Their approach to education is unmatched in this community. They know what it takes to support the holistic needs of a child. They understand that supporting the whole child means that each student is healthy, safe, engaged, supported, and challenged. They install discipline and set high academic standards for all of their students. As the proud parent of a former CAMPA student, I know first hand how they are transforming the lives of students and their families.

This school enables all students a fair opportunity at receiving a quality education. CAMPA has high standards that allows students to graduate with mastery in many core subjects. In addition the children are building life long friendships with their peers and are given the great social and emotional support needed to grow confidently and be successful in life.

My Son attends CAMPA. He's in the 7th grade. I can't imagine him not attending CAMPA for 9th grade and beyond. CAMPA staff works hard for their Student's whether in class or virtual. In order for our kids to succeed we need CAMPA to expand and grow.

These teachers and administrators are going above and beyond to pour into our students and should be given the resources necessary to make the next step academically.
