I have decided to rescind my approval 2117 Illona Lane Sikarevich does NOT APPROVE OF THE SOUTH MERRICK CIVIC ASSOCIATION plan to build a children's playground on Wynsum and Illona in Merrick.

It's time for this section of Merrick to have a playground. Why should we have to drive to Bellmore or Julian Lane to take children to a playground???

Its about time! We have to large fields on our peninsula. It would be nice for my kids to be able to walk to the park close to their home and play with their friends!

I have lived in Merrick for 50 years grew up on Donna drive. It's time to make that empty land into a playground. My grandchildren can play theater how wonderful would that be!!!

This area is and always has been NEVER used for anything!!!! No one Is ever there. It is currently a complete waste of valuable space that could be used in the same way as the Julian Lane park is used; as a playground for children with their families.
