Dawn Plummer, a British citizen, has been working in Nigeria and wants to return with Elmo, an African Grey Parrot, to Scotland, but the Nigerian Authorities won't let her bring Elmo out of the country. Dawn purchased him there almost 5 years ago. We are trying to convince the Nigerian authorities that Elmo is a pet and she is not an importing a wild parrot. Elmo is now domesticated and if released into a jungle or wildlife environment in Nigeria, he will not survive and surely die.
