Goodwater was the perfect town to grow up in back in the 1950s and 1960s.

A great place to have lived.

I grew up in Goodwater I would not exchange my life for any other place under the sun. All 3 churches were so active and had activities for all kids in the town. We didn't have more to do that took away study time. But, we lived simple a life and love and respected our families and each other. Please return return that sweet little town of Goodwater, Al!

goodwater was a thriving town when we lived there in the late 1940s and early 1950s.

Goodwater made all of us what we are today...accomplishments, values,appreciation of others and love of our country.

Love my memories of living in Goodwater. Always visit when I am in the area.

I grew up in Goodwater as did three generations of my family before me. It was a wonderful place to live and I still visit my hometown frequently. Goodwater is very dear to my heart and I would love to see it revived for future generations.

Lived in Goodwater from 1943 to 1961. Had family there much longer. Hope this project can be useful.

Some of my greatest times growing up were in this town and community, and likely in many of the buildings which are now beyond repair. The town can be revived through efforts such as these, and I wholeheartedly support the effort.

This is where I grew up. It was and still is a lovely town. I would like to see it thrive once again. Lower the crime rate and make it safe for all families. I love my home town. "Greater things are yet to come and greater things are still to be done in this City".
