Let’s Make the Browns Hill Rd / 191 Intersection Safe

I agree that something needs to be done about the intersection at Browns Hill Road

I was making a right turn on brown hills road from 191 and was hitting the back of my car and the other person took off without stopping mashed. My car and took off

A mortorcye hit the outside corner of my bumper 2 years as I was making a right turn on Browns road off paridiise valley road. Broke the plastic corner of my bumper and took off.

Sign must let drives know that this is a two lane and the turn is very sharp so slow down

Even making a left turn from Browns hill Road to 191 and making a right turn from 191 to Browns hill road is a problem. Lot of people driving on 191 towards Mt. Pocono do not know that drivers have to really slow down to make a sharp right turn to Browns hill Road (especially when there are vehicles waiting to make a left/right turn and there is hardly any space) and they don't have the patience to slow down but start honking. I agree with Tracy L. Hope and pray Penn DOT takes does not waste time.

Need flashers at intersection also. The turn to Btowns Hill Rd. Is not 90 degrees, it's more like 120 degrees. A bridge abutment blocks car traffic views.

Having seen the aftermath of incidents at this intersection and experiencing some close calls, I fully concur with this petition.

I was rear ended making the turn into browns hill comming from rt 715. Something needs to be done. Speeding is a problem

As someone who’s mother was in an accident on this turn by someone racing down 191 and slammed into her as she turned out (he was going so fast she didn’t even know he was there until he slammed into her) There needs to be a traffic light here! That is the only way people will slow down. Every day people race by. No one looks at the speed signs. They are obviously pointless since there was another accident this morning. How may accidents need to happen before someone is seriously hurt or killed for a real change to happen?

Drivers don’t respect the speed limit

This needs to be done, before someone dies!

I've been in Timber Hill for 30 years now. People have been killed at and near this intersection. It's dangerous from both directions. Coming from Mt Pocono and coming out at Browns Hill RD. Something definitely needs to be done in both directions.

We definitely need a second exit and 35 mph signs on 191 coming up to browns hill rd both are very serious problems for members of timber hill and paradise point

Most dangerous turn I have ever had to make. And since it is the ONLY way in or out of our community..I have to make that turn...please help.
