A man who knew his community and his community knew him. He watched alot of us grow up and mature. Never forgetting a face he made it feel like the bar "cheers" on that street corner. Stop by and you were fed knowledge, or laughs, then some good food. If you grew up in the 90's/early 2000's in flushing, you knew matty and HIS corner. He will be missed.

ill never forget the day i came by for a kebob and wanted some wicked hot sauce and you gave me something special which burned the crap outta my mouth and after i was done decided to go across the street and wash my hands and relieve myself. Not being very bright at the time thinking natures calling was more important I reached down and unbuttoned my pants a d pulled my zipper down and without thinking placed my hot sauce riddled hands on my johnson to take a leak and within 2 seconds felt a shearing burn that I would endure and remember till this day 20 years later. Great memories from a great guy and thanks for them all.
