For over 20 years, the corner of 38th Ave and Main St has been a landmark of its own in Flushing, Queens, thanks to our beloved brother and friend, Matthew Rosenzweig. We need your help in commemorating everything he stood for and meant to the community with an official street sign bearing Matthew's name on that corner. It's important for us to present this petition to the community board in hopes that they will take this into serious consideration. It will serve as each of our own confirmation that Matthew touched our lives. It is our way of showing gratitude--not only for everything he's given us throughout his short time on this earth, but to let everyone who may pass by that street know what an impact he's had on so many. Please take a moment to sign, leave a comment and share this petition. Thank you all!

Grew up spending a lot of time on Mattys corner with him and his kababs. I will always remember the solid advice, good laughs, and unforgettable memories.

A man who knew his community and his community knew him. He watched alot of us grow up and mature. Never forgetting a face he made it feel like the bar "cheers" on that street corner. Stop by and you were fed knowledge, or laughs, then some good food. If you grew up in the 90's/early 2000's in flushing, you knew matty and HIS corner. He will be missed.
