I think this is ridiculous, I would say 9 times out of 10 when I walk into Cheney I find something I am able to eat and enjoy. There is variety almost every meal - the only time I'll admit they struggle is Saturday/Sunday nights. Grab a bowl of cereal if you don't like whats being served, or head over to the union because dining dollars are included in your meal plan too. You do realize that this college has to cater to over 2,000 different students, right? Who all like different things? And they do their best to reach out to students for suggestions LITERALLY ALL THE TIME! They even added the Naked station for individuals with gluten allergies and for people who don't like seasoning! We have a salad station pizza station stir fry station grill.....Have any of the 135 people that signed this petition tried one of Mike's chocolate chip cookies? Cheney is honestly a lit dining hall with a decent amount of options- especially taking into consideration how small our school is.....Just remember next time you're walking out of Cheney pissed off about how you were "FORCED" to get an omelette that morning, you are LIVING in a city that is poverty stricken and I'm 99% sure the children that live down the street who don't get dinner every night would really like the taste of that omelette!!!

I totally agree with this. I wish there was a meal plan for less than 14 times a week because I only there way less than 10 times a week.

The meats are always very bad. Only a few times I'm actually impressed by it. It's either too dry and tastes like cardboard, or it looks a bit undercooked and I won't even eat it. Food is also cooked in way too much oil and gives me stomach aches from eating it.

I know you guys won't agree with this comment. But I think it important to remember that it is hard to please everyone on campus. I believe our food is relatively good compared to other school dinning halls. And as far as the price goes, not all of our money goes to the actual food company on campus... a lot of it goes to other things.

Due to the limited variety of food options, students like myself are forced to get omelettes and stirfries where we have no more choices to add things to pre-picked proteins such as chicken. With only one on that station during breakfast times and the rest of the eggs being left out for hours on end chefs are required to cook omelettes in a short amount of time in order to keep the lines down. This causes in unexcepable undercooked eggs which is a health code violation. Cooking multiple foods in the same pan such as at the stir fry line can cause cross contamination especially with the minimal wiping of pans with a wet cloth. This poses a health risk for any person with an allergy.

We should also be thinking about adding more vegetarian options

More gluten free options would be great. Chicken and rice gets boring fast.

As an athlete, it's hard to eat in Cheney before practices or games because everything is always so greasy and heavy and often leaves you feeling rather sick after.
