He took the life if his stepdaughter and planned to kill a witness and involved his son. Who's to say he won't try again. The family of this young lady will be looking over their shoulders for the rest of their lives. They have suffered enough

Shari was my sisters best friend and I used to babysit for her and her brother growing up....I was heartbroken when I heard he news that she was murdered by her mother's husband..... I hear he will be up for parole and I am writing to plead with you to keep this sick disturbed evil human being in jail.....he gave up his rights when he took someone else's life....he needs to stay away...FOREVER!!!!!!

Intentional murder is the worst crime a human can commit on another human. No matter what the circumstance is murderers do not deserve a place within our functioning society. This man took a life and should be grateful that he was not punished with death. However as repercussion he should not experience a life of freedom because Mrs. Sarote is not able to fulfill hers. I ask that the judge, jury, and prosecutors look at this case from an ethical and moral standpoint. This man is not just a criminal, he is a savage that commited uncivilized and barbaric acts. Mrs. Sarote's ability to experience life and walk on the Land of the Free was taken from her, so this man must not be able to walk or experience it either.

I am friends with Lori McDermott she spoke to many times about Shari. If her death effected her as it has I can not image what her family has gone through. Anyone that causes that much pain should not be let out of jail. They need to turn down his parole.
