God will prevail. We need prayer back in schools, and us adults need to re-read our history and stop this stupid and crazy stuff as removing it of the locations that may history. Leave the DIXIE song in place and move on for our children as students here in Arab.

To say arad's fight song of Dixie for a high skool football team was said to be ...... What? Arad High Skool bands was what? Go back and teach Old and New Spanish for today's ethics citizens of Alabama. Going to School at Arad and not knowing a name was taught us on December 25 checking a list to make sure if your naughty or nice; (Santa Clause) new Spanish meant (Holy Bible) or (Santa Libre) old Spanish means (Holy Bible) A athletical high skool fight band song was what? But Arab High School refused to teach all its citizens of Arab city of two or three languages being taught to our children to be bullied by educations and diploma's of graduating from Arab High School that our parents are being robbed, misjudged, and saying buy a computer to come and graduate now. Joseph Hipp was correct in the essay written in his 9th Grade Year Mr. Ledbetter English class. "What Everybody Does Not Realize about Schools of The U.S.A" New Spanish and we are still blind Santa Clause or Holy Bible and we was taught correctly nor prepared properly for what Joseph (Joey) Hipp wrote in essay and got an A÷ for. God, Jesus, and The Holy Bible called Santa Clause by Spanish Americans and Joey knew we was being laughed at for words sung in music we knew not of truth understood by another country in our Governments Education taught to us first and our Children today who are being blinded and lied to by teachers of America and It's State and Federal Governments.As Joey said in essay A Child's Prayer for teaching Lies in education to a child whom walked with God and Jesus and Santa Clause or Holy Bible ! Is what tears them 2 Towers down. We allowed that child growing up to be deceived and lied to in his learning on American soil they was born onto ?

I became a member of the high school band in the eight grade and was also a majorette. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of. Since when does the superintendent micromanage the band director? There is a law in Alabama which prevents historic statues from being torn down. "Dixie" is a historic song. It has been the fight song for the school and band for decades. A new superintendent comes into office and makes his "grandstand" by deciding to do away with "Dixie". One person makes a decision for the entire city; never mind what the student body wants or even allowing them a voice. I hate bullies! This certainly sounds like the action of one big bully to me. I worked at a school with a new principal like that. He didn't make it through the first nine week grading period.

we need prayer and our fight song back in our school my son is a senior and he plays football and they dont have anything to keep there head in the game so I think it should be up to the students if they want to take to keep it or take it out

Tradition is tradition! Mr. Mullins has been superintendent all these years why now? Let it be, Dixie is just a song to celebrate. And we live in the heart of Dixie. Go Knights.
