This massive re-zone certainly caught many in South-East Seattle by complete surprise. IF there was a public process, it was not well-designed.

I live here and don;t want the character of the community ruined.

Seattle is losing its character. Do not accelerate this by doubling height for "special" developments. This is a neighborhood, not downtown, and 65 feet is enough.

No more than 65 feet, please

65 feet is sufficient.

This area of the city, the area in which I live, has been neglected for years and years. It is now time for the same thoughtful planning and considerations on development that are given to the rest of the city to be dedicated here.

We are maxing out on high rise housing in the valley. We want to keep the scale human. The apartments near Safeway feel like a Bronx suburb. We do not need such a tall building!!! And it will really increase the traffic that is already too much.

Please keep the height maximum at 65 feet, a 12 story building in that location is way out of scale with its surroundings.

Leave the valley alone!

I am concerned that while this will increase housing and density it moves industry and the only hardware store out of the area. I am not clear why 85 feet isn't sufficient. You don't see 125 zoning in the north end.

we redentice of the Rainier Valley Community do not approve of this kind of addition to our neighborhood. We like Lowes and the adjenct facilities.
