This petition is really an invitation! We hope not to demand our own way, but rather to encourage the terrific faculty of the Campolo College to cordially invite Dr. Tony Campolo to visit with us, CCGPS USA Cohort 1.
As a class, we want Dr. Campolo to know how much we love and appreciate all that he has done, and to know how his taking a few minutes to be with us would be so wonderfully appreciated and treasured.

We have already been in touch with his Executive Assistant, who has indicated there is a small miracle of an opening in his schedule July 22-24 during which he will be in Philadelphia.

His assistant indicated, though, that the official invitation must come from the faculty of the Campolo College, not from the students. We therefore are asking the faculty of the college to give their blessings and issue the invitation. Even a stop in over lunch would be terrific.

Given Dr. Campolo's ridiculously grueling speaking schedule, we fully understand if he is unable to make it and do not wish to burden him. But we do want a special invitation to be given. After all, when we go forth from graduation we will forever carry his name - it would be a shame not to have met him! He is such an inspiration.

We pray God will work it out and bring it all together, engaging us in the process. Thank you, all!
