As a therapist I'm sick of seeing the horrible nails applied by the quick pop up nail bars that are every where nowadays! You know the ones I mean, you walk in and they are all in masks and can't speak English, do not talk to you but do you a full set of acrylics in 30 minutes. These places are so unhygienic and unsafe it's shocking, they use a form of dental acrylic that is TOXIC (hence the masks) that ruins your nail beds! They re-use equipment without proper sterilisation causing infection to spread between clients. I've have people come to me with nails hanging off and some nails completely gone, so they are missing a nail! The only way to stop these people is to bring it to the attention of people to ensure they no longer use them! Is cheap nails really worth the risk of all your nails coming off and causing so much damage they may never grow back?!
