Joe Bowen is the heart and soul of Leafs Nation, and he deserves to re-assume his old post calling games on live television. Joe has been the voice of leafs nation since 1982, and has rallied hundreds of thousands of Leaf fans around his legendary calls. Unfortunately, over the past few years our beloved play by play man has been relegated to calling games via radio, thus distancing him from the fans that love him oh so much. Not only do we as fans love Joe for his personality, but his skill in play calling is unparalleled.
We love you Joe, and we owe it to all of our fans, young and old to have the rightful voice of Leafs Nation return to his rightful post.
We are looking for signatures in order to make a strong appeal to sportsnet to get Joe back on TV as soon as possible! We are entering a new era in Leafs Nation and I cannot think of a more fitting persona to help guide our future.

I cant believe we are watching the best hockey ever for the leafs and how the current announcers down play the game. It sounds boring and dull. If the leafs go far in the playoffs and there is no Joe Bowen I am gonna be pissed. Please bring him back.
I’ve been a fan for 76 years and can tell you that no one knows these Leafs like Joe Bowen! He needs to be the voice of our Leafs on TV. I cant imagine any other announcer announcing thevstanley cup game like Joe. To be honest, I play the radio and mute the tv for games. Common leaf nation sign this petition and get Joe back.
Here we have the golden opportunity to replace "Holy snappin' eyeballs!" with "Holy Mackinaw". No debate. It's clear who the winner is.
In full agreement on this one. It is a shame that someone this passionate and who can make games so enjoyable to watch isn't on TV. The Leafs are good again and one of the best play by play men in hockey is relegated to radio duty.
We need him back, his voice and calls are uniquely Toronto. And in an NHL where Boston get Jack Edwards, Joe Bowen’s slight Leafs bias is nothing. 1000% better than Romanuk/Hughson.

I'm listening to Bartlett now, I can't help but think I'm watching the Marlies or some insignificant European League Tournament. Just can't get into it. I turn off the TV volume and listen to Joe on the radio. It's sad, like they're trying to get people to buy tickets instead of listening to the TV broadcast. I do like Greg Millen though. I like Jim Ralph too on the radio as colour commentator.
