In addition to the lack of vinyl release, Sire/Warner Bros. still retains the rights to a few never-before-released Foxy Shazam songs. According to the band members, they had planned on creating an EP with these songs and releasing them on their own, but once again, their label never saw this project completed. It appears that the band would support the release of these songs, so we would like to express our interest in getting them out of the vault in into our collections!
By signing this petition, you are expressing your interest and showing your support for two specific things:
1) Seeing an official release of Foxy Shazam in a vinyl record format, and
2) Releasing the currently-unheard Foxy Shazam songs from the originally-planned EP. (in a digital format or otherwise)
Thanks for the support! Let's get these tracks released the way they were meant to be heard -- out of the vault, onto vinyl, and into our ears!
December 2014 Edit: Sadly, in late October, Foxy Shazam announced they would be taking a hiatus for an undetermined amount of time. Regardless of this, I'm sure the fans have just as much or even more interest in getting this album released on vinyl and hearing the other unreleased material that Sire still holds. If you'd like either of these things to happen, then sign sign sign! We miss you already, Foxy!

I was listening to the self-titled album again this morning and honestly it is just infuriating that we still do not have a physical record to put on the turntable. I have been digging around in some old forums and it keeps blowing my mind how much music is just sitting in a vault somewhere gathering dust because a label didn't think it fit their quarterly projections. Let's keep pushing because those missing tracks deserve a home and we definitely deserve to hear them.

Warner Brothers, please release Foxy Shazam's record on vinyl! Also, I really wanna hear the tracks that Foxy had planned to put out for their EP. Please release them! I am willing to pay for this and I'm sure others are too! P.S. If anyone's listening, I think red colored vinyl or red/black/cream swirled vinyl would be really cool!
Definitely would want Foxy Shazam on Vinyl record! Would purchase all released albums.

It's a travesty that this band didn't become the draw they deserved to be. Even more of a travesty that this never went to vinyl. DO IT.

Please release the album on vinyl and put out the unreleased tracks to satisfy their fans. Or better yet, release your ownership of all music to the band and let them do what they want with it.
