I believe that toponyms should be accurate, but, as it stands, Drake's Island does not actually belong to Drake. For the small sum of £6m ($7.2m or Cad$10.4m), this could all change.

My aim through this petition is to convince Drake to buy Drake's Island, thus making it toponymously accurate - Drake's Island would indeed belong to Drake.

You might think that my mind is so far gone to attempt such a thing, but I guarantee you'll thank me later.

The island provides wonderful views, birds, plants and more life forms, each unique and special. The fauna is characterized by a distinct lack of scorpions.

What a time to be alive when you can buy such a lovely property, with the emotional support and encouragement of all your fans.

So please help me out in my attempt to get Drake to buy Drake's Island. Get your friends to sign this too. Let's return this beautiful piece of land to its rightful owner! Together we can do it!
