We skateboarders of Mount Vernon request the The City Of Mount Vernon to allocate funds to have a skateboarding park be built in Mount Vernon. At the moment we have been using the city streets as venue to host our skateboarding. This causes a great hazard to the youth of Mount Vernon who are forced to practice their skateboarding in the streets. A number of us has been in accidents with vehicles and we demand a place for us to skate safely.
