The American Medical Association has said that photo shopped ads are a public health problem, causing eating disorders in women of all ages, especially teens. However, the only company who has pledged to end photo shopped swim and lingerie ads so far is Aerie (a subsidiary of American Eagle). The only magazine who has pledged to end these dangerous ads is Seventeen Magazine. Let's get the attention of major retailers: GAP, Victoria's Secret, JCrew, Target. TOGETHER, we can make a difference!
